Echinopsis subdenudata     5/4/15
One of the many echinopsis which has wonderfully outsized flowers. I really do keep the size of my plants under control by having them in very small pots. This plant has been in that pot, 2” (5 cm) on a side for many years, flowering richly all the while. I’m going to put this plant and many others into 5” (12.5 cm) pots this summer so that I have better show plants. (I don’t care about winning shows. I want to encourage people who come to the show to take up cacti as a hobby.)   (26/32)
