Echinocereus dasyacanthus SNL89     4/21/20
I participated in a cactus rescue from a road widening south of Carlsbad NM about 15 years ago. I collected some of this species and made seeds. I've finally gotten around to growing the seeds and getting the next generation of flowers. What you see is the usual huge yellow flower for this species. There are small populations in Texas that have different colored flowers. (02/56)
