There are two plants. They were heavily damaged by pack rats a couple of years ago and are recovering nicely. The specific name translates to something like "less than naked," which makes no sense to me. You can see the edges of the ribs (barely; it's hard to take a good picture of a white flower with a very dark green plant) and there are no spines coming out of the little fuzzy areoles. If you want a spineless Echinopsis that flowers all summer, this is it. (17/72)
