Lobivia (?)     6/9/20
This must be one of the many hybrid offspring I've made. I was excited to see the flower because it's very close to a typical Echinopsis/Trichocereus flower. I actually managed to cross the flowers that the two buds became with some flowers from the other genera. I patiently waited for the fruit to ripen. I decided that one more day was needed. The next day, I went to harvest the fruit, and both were gone. The local rats probably got them. This has been a bad year for losing plants and plant materials to pack rats and mice. I just ordered 12 more rat traps from Amazon. (20/72)
